A documentary film exploring the life of Fermanagh-born surgeon Dr Denis Burkitt, who discovered Burkitt's lymphoma in Africa, as told by filmmaker and survivor of this cancer, Éanna Mac Cana. In his lifetime Dr Denis Burkitt discovered, described & cured an aggressive type of cancer called Burkitt's lymphoma. Éanna Mac Cana is a filmmaker from Belfast. His work has screened at film festivals & galleries across Europe & North America. Burkitt is his debut feature film.
